Growing and Making Friends

Camp was a bit overwhelming when I first got there. There were happy people and dogs everywhere!

Some of us wore yellow bandanas to tell the group we needed to work at becoming friends with each other.

We did a lot of
listening practice.

Mom took me on lots of meeting walks

We spent a lot of time greeting
and getting to become friends

We learned a lot from Grace and Triscuit

 
Everything we learn has
classes so Mom knows
what to do.

were my play buddies.
 

In the lodge I had my special rug I could go to. It was my safe space.

DSA provided a high quality of organization and safety for all levels
of dog teams. Bonnie began the first part of the week wearing her
yellow bandana to alert the other campers she needed a planned
meeting approach. By the end of the week she was beginning to step out.
