This is the church at the monastery

This is one of the buildings in the monastery and here are some more
pictures from the monastery.

The monastery had a huge wall all the way around it.

Ricarda and Susi and I all went to the monastery together. It
was fun to be together with both of my German sisters.

Susi lives in the wine country of Germany on a
farm. This is her dad's tractor and barn. Susi's dad grows sugar beets ... he's the only
dad I know that wants me to eat a lot of sugar.

This their home. The whole upper story lets air in to dry fruit. There is so
much fruit - apples, pears, grapes, plums, raspberries that sticks have to hold up the
plants.

Susi had to go to Florence, Italy where she
got to see the Statue of Michalangelo's David. She let me sleep in her room anyway
and we drew pictures and played with mom's new art supplies from Heildelberg.

This is Susi's mom, she loves nature and makes beautiful flower
arrangements. She is the leader of the local farm women.

Susi's mom and I went on a long walk all around the fields and vineyards

I liked to throw apples for the dog, she would catch them and take one bite and wait for
me to throw another apple. She liked the sunshine and always layed in sunny spots.
