Gerd's family lives in Kaufbeuren, Germany. This village is in Bavaria. Bavaria is in southern Germany. It is a very beautiful place with forests and mountains and great castles and churches.

Gerd has an 11 year old son Julian who is studying English. Julian also plays soccer. He had to go to school while I was there so I never got his picture. Maybe his dad can send me one over the internet.

Gerd took us to a lot of places...my favorite was the Oktoberfest in Munich.
