Baby Gurl
I know a lot on gangs so I'm just
going to squeeze it in one small poem :
GANGS
Being brought up in a dark and cold
world there is no hope for me in this place I have no where to go and I can not
escape I'm lost and scared I have no where to go so my last hope is getting
jumped in with a group of friends who's only down with committing sin and now
I'm down and blood's every where and every thing isn't so clear I hear soft
cries of my mother and the police telling my lilttle brother to go in the house
and all of a sudden the world blacks out.
p.s. mo'angels don't roll with no
gangs, but we have friends in many many different gangs, if we're wearing a
certain color or a rag don't get the wrong idea, we're not representing we're
just being ourselves and our mo' stands for mo' (more) because we want more
teens to join our efforts and mo' (modeling) because we are tryin' hard to be
roll models.

I
rolled with just about every gang and it was tight, though I neva' joined. No
one should join a gang if it is just about bad stuff and doing bad things. Stay
away from that. . A gang is the click you roll wit.' Like I said I hung out wit'
so many gangs, but I won't roll wit' 'em - specially if they are stealing,
robbin' or killin'. There are so many - Bloods, GD's, Crips, Black Stones,
ViceLords, Latin Kings. When ya live in the city, they are just a piece of the
action. I think it is wrong to hurt people and they get wiled up over stupid
things like wearing a certain color, he said - she said, lookin' at somebody's
gurl. No sense to hurt someone or even kill em' over triflin' stuff. No sense to
hurt or kill someone ever. Stay free, stay safe and be yo' self!
